![]() ![]() ![]() Then you have to have your Mantis crew member open communications with the alien, Kazaaakpleth Kilik’s spaceship. Then you will need to find the right sectors. For this next ship you will need a Mantis crew member, a level two teleporter bay and a level two med bay by the time you find a Mantis home world. The next ship you will probably get will be the Federate which you will get at sector eight where you need to beat the boss. The first ship you are going to get is the Engi ship. You can level up your crew mates and you want to stay in the sectors as long as possible so you can get more scrap. You need to spend your scrap wisely to upgrade your ship to beat the boss. You command your crew to fight and fix your systems. The rebels are trying to take over the universe. ![]() Aliens have a negative association with the rebels. If you beat the boss, you might unlock a ship, but if you don’t beat the boss, you lose that run. Once you get to the end sector, you encounter the boss that is trying to kill the Federate base. You fly to different sectors and fight ships. Not as little scrap as a uncharted nebula, not as dangerous as Tier 8s, but less scrap/crew kils/stores/crew etc compared to Tier 4.FTL stands for faster than light. And you get a less scrap overall from missing these crew kills. Rebel controlled sectors have only 1-2 stores, auto ships can have nasty evade. ![]() Just having stuff like a spare fire beam or bomb to use when the enemy ship can't harm you is enough. Combined with stuff like ion stunner, it can be easy. Minibeam in the gif.Įven just shooting at oxygen and getting a lucky breach or fire can be a crew kill in many cases, especially vs mantis ships. Many ions can get crew kills on ships by shooting oxygen.Īny type of beam weaponry, not just bio beam, is guaranteed crew kill on ships w/o medbay as long as the beam can deal 0 hull damage ( ). Mind control gets crew kills on most ships, so does hacking. Rebel controlled sectors aren't too bad with boarding anyways, because boarding neuters AI ships. Tier 9 - As this sector does not truly exist, it is dead lastīoarding is not the only way to get crew kills. Slug Home Nebula (their quest sucks lmao) (Tier 7 with LRS and fuel) Slug Controlled Nebula (Tier 7 with LRS and fuel) Tier 7 - The quest is better than nothing Uncharted Nebula (Tier 5 with LRS and fuel) Tier 5 - I suppose I'm not getting crew kills Mantis Homeworlds (Tier 2 if the quest could be completed) Tier 0 - Free fuel, free repairs everywhere, ship encounters everywhere, gives consistently the most scrap on average compared to the sectors below, clearly the best sectorĮngi Homeworlds (Tier 2 if the quest could be completed) I just finished all the ships on hard and was gonna do a ship tier list, or something, but tons of those exist, so I decided to do a sector tier list.
